Monday 30th March 2020
Dear Parents,
It is likely that schools will remain closed after Easter. For this reason we have been planning for your children’s learning at home. We recognise it can be tricky to get your children to complete the tasks, so, as a few all time winners:
- share a good book
- play a board game
- help with cooking
- craft
Calls home: we aim to call each child regularly to check how they are getting on so be prepared for a phone call.
The arrangements are as follows and will go live on Monday 20th April :
Reception | Every Monday, we will film ourselves reading a story and upload it to Tapestry. We will then set some tasks linked to the story that cover the seven areas of learning, to be completed over the course of the week. We will also include five short phonics lessons, one for each week day.
You can upload photos and videos of the children doing their activities so we can see how they’re getting on. Mrs Dean or Mrs Roscoe will call you at home regularly to check in on children. Here is a letter from your teacher: Reception Letter |
