I used to love teaching writing to Year 1.

I do pottery and boot camps in my local park, even when it's muddy.

This is all I have ever done!

What's your favourite subject to teach and why?

I went into primary school teaching, as I enjoy teaching most subjects, but my passions are Art & Design and Design & Technology, especially now that I know what a motorised pulley-drive is!

Do you have any interesting hobbies?

I create digital artwork at home, working mostly in Photoshop, though I still get the inks and paints out when I want to get messy! I am also a season ticket holder at Arsenal Football Club. The hardest part of lockdown for me is not being able to go to matches!

If you had a job or went to University before working in schools, what did you do?

I went into teaching later than most, so have been through a few professions! I have worked as a freelance illustrator, a building society manager and as an overseas financial controller for a tour operator for 7 years. I have worked in Portugal, The Canary Islands, Ibiza, France, Greece and India.

What's your favourite subject to teach and why?

Maths! I love solving puzzles and playing games in my lessons 🙂

What is your favourite children's book?

My favourite book as a child was Charlotte's Web by E.B. White. The friendship between Charlotte and Wilbur is so beautiful and Charlotte proved that, even if you are small, you can achieve great things!

Do you have any interesting hobbies?

I love to read and go to the theatre. I sing in a choir every week and we perform in concerts once a month.

I love going for long walks, practising yoga and reading.

I went to University in Dublin, Ireland to study Economics. I then decided to be a teacher and did a PGCE conversion course at UCL.

What is your favourite children's book?

Matilda by Roald Dahl. This book has all the components of a great story: an inspirational lead character, lots of humour, a strong message and a terrific villain!

Do you have any interesting hobbies?

I'm a bit of a football fanatic! I'm a season ticket holder at Tottenham Hotspur in North London. However, despite my love for the game, I'm ashamed to admit that I am absolutely useless when it comes to playing myself!

What's your dream summer holiday destination?

I haven't travelled very much so there are too many to list! I am hoping to visit Thailand this coming summer. I've always wanted to go to an elephant sanctuary - fingers crossed!

I love teaching art because it allows expression and creativity, with no wrong or right answer.

I have lots but these four spring to mind - Little Rabbit Foo Foo, So Much, Room on the Broom and Diary of a Wombat.

I was a family/child support worker in a women's refuge.

I love rock climbing!

I studied French and Spanish at University. Before I was a teacher, I worked at an International Development charity.

What's your favourite subject to teach and why?

I think we all know that it's obviously PE. I love being active and I thoroughly enjoy seeing all the children having fun whilst also becoming physically confident. PE educates children on the positive benefits of exercise and sports and allows them to understand how good it can make them feel.

Do you have any interesting hobbies?

I love watching movies, cooking (and eating :-D) and participating in different sporting activities.

If you had a job or went to University before working in schools, what did you do?

First, I went to St Mary's University in Twickenham and received my BA degree in Sports Science and Physical Education in the Community. I then trained as a Gymnastics coach where I became Head of Men's Artistic Gymnastics at Talacre Sports Centre. My gymnasts represented their borough and city in national competitions.

Spinning, shopping for coats and baking.

I studied Journalism at the University Of Newcastle.

What's your favourite subject to teach and why?

Dance! I used to be a professional dancer and it always amazes me how quickly children pick up routines. There is nothing like the feeling of watching children dancing and seeing the joy it brings to everybody involved!

What is your favourite children's book?

For the little ones - The Day the Crayons Quit.
For the big ones - the His Dark Materials trilogy. I'm on my 5th reading of them!

What's your dream summer holiday destination?

Snowboarding in New Zealand!

Do you have any interesting hobbies?

In my spare time, I really enjoy sewing and over the years have made numerous items of clothing and accessories. I enjoy selecting different fabrics, that I can then use to create something out of.

I studied Spanish at university and after leaving, I spent some time teaching in Spain and Argentina which I absolutely loved.

What's your dream summer holiday destination?

I love exploring new countries and my next dream destination would be to visit Cuba and dance salsa.

I studied Musical Theatre at University and I became a dance teacher once I had graduated.

What's your favourite subject to teach and why?

Maths! I struggled with it in school and when doing the statistics component in my degree, I found that I enjoyed it and was very capable. It made me aware of the significance of the attitude of my teachers and how easy it is to get left behind. Holding both when teaching maths I've found invaluable.

Do you have any interesting hobbies?

I like walking, running and singing in a harmonising group.

I am a counsellor to children and adults alongside my pastoral role in Holy Trinity.

Maths - I love how it is very much about logic and strategy. There is a definitive answer 99% of the time but no definitive way to find it.

Do you have any interesting hobbies?

I like to play the drums. I recently started doing puzzles and clay modelling.

I went to the University of Kent and studied Sports Therapy. I worked for Edexcel (the exam board) and for Southend United Football Club as a coach.

Do you have any interesting hobbies?

I like reading, for myself or for my children, I like cooking and can be very creative while doing it. I'm an outgoing person, and like socialising / hanging out with friends. I also enjoy being physically active, and spend time walking or when I can swimming.

I finished two years in university of philology studying history of Albanian and English language. I also worked for a while in sales department.

I love going to America because I'm half Native American.

I really enjoy teaching history and geography because there is always something new and interesting to learn and you get to know more about the students' own experiences of the world!

I'm actually studying at university now towards a degree in English Language and Literature and I also studied Psychology for a short while.

What's your dream summer holiday destination?

Cyprus as my dad's side of the family are from there; it's a beautiful country and it feels like my home away from home. I can read and write Greek but I am still learning the language.

I love mathematics, because makes our life orderly and establishes connections between two areas of mathematics that at first sight appear to be unrelated.

My favorite children's book is Robinson Crusoe by Daniel Defoe.

I have finished a Bachelor of Law in Kosovo, and I also have a BSC in Psychology from Birkbeck University. I worked for a very long period of time as a Western Balkans Researcher and translator.

I enjoy teaching maths because there are so many different ways to help you learn and challenge yourselves.

There are too many to choose from... I love The Twits by Roald Dahl and all of the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling.

I love reading and going for muddy walks in the woods with my family. I also like watching rugby.

What's your favourite subject to teach and why?

It has to be English, but specifically teaching English as a second/foreign language. During my time as an EFL teacher, I realised that there was so much more to the English language and just how complicated it was when I had to explain idioms and such to my students. It was an enjoyable and interesting experience and English remains my favourite subject.

Do you have any interesting hobbies?

I like to collect miniature items - they are soo cute!

What's your dream holiday destination?

Colombia or Chile!

Reading! Reading has been a great passion and hobby of mine since childhood and it is my favourite subject to teach.

I worked for an Underwriting Syndicate at Lloyds of London in the city, prior to working in schools.

What's your dream summer holiday destination?

Anywhere in the Caribbean especially the beautiful and picturesque St Vincent & The Grenadines. My favourite Islands in this chain are Union Island, Palm Island, & Mustique.

I used to be a pupil at Holy Trinity School when I was a child!

What do you love about Holy Trinity?

I've worked here for 30 years. I love everything about the place, but especially all the families that we see grow up through the school.

I love kickboxing and teach it after school, and anything to do with fitness and sports.

I used to work for the police force and I also worked at London Zoo!
