Thank you to all the parents and pupils who supported Odd Socks Day today.  Days like this underpin our belief that all our pupils are significant to God and to our school family.  Odd Socks Day marks the beginning of Anti-Bullying Week, the theme of which is ‘Make a Noise about Bullying’.  The theme encourages pupils to talk to a trusted adult, sibling or friend about anything that is troubling them, whether it is happening to them or to another pupil.

At Holy Trinity pupils are encouraged to speak to the following if they are worried about anything they experience or see:

  • Any member of Holy Trinity staff
  • Our pastoral support worker, Ms Toplis. (Ms Toplis holds a drop-in session on a Friday.)
  • Jemima, our children’s pastor at Lighthouse London
  • The House Captains – they will listen and alert an adult
  • A sibling who can tell an adult on their behalf
  • Friends who can tell an adult on their behalf

There is also a yellow concerns box in the school office that children can use if they do not feel they can actually speak to anyone.
