We are working with our third party communication software suppliers, ParentHub and Arbor, to ensure they continually improve the accessibility of their platforms and become fully WCAG 2.2 complaint as swiftly as possible.
Statement from Arbor
Our accessibility approach has evolved significantly. While historically some areas required improvement due to rapid scaling and feature development, we’ve fundamentally changed how we build products. Today, no new design work is released without meeting WCAG 2.2 AA standards – this is enforced through mandatory accessibility reviews in our design QA and sign-off workflows.
We’ve recently undertaken a comprehensive rebuild of our design system from the ground up. This new system is architected to meet WCAG 2.2 AA standards by default. By ensuring accessibility at the component level, all future product development inherits accessible design patterns, appropriate colour contrast ratios, and compliant interactive behaviours.
Statement from Parent Hub
“Accessibility is unfortunately one area of the app that could be improved.”
