We love a trip at Holy Trinity! Trips are carefully chosen to enrich pupils learning in a range of subjects. They build pupils’ cultural capital – their knowledge of culture, institutions and traditions – which contributes to ‘getting on in life’.
Yesterday, Reception went to Hampstead Heath to learn about the weather and seasons. They enjoyed a practical workshop that helps the pupils to consolidate what they have been learning in class.
Year 2 visited the Palace of Westminster to find out how Parliament and democracy work. This is part of our work promoting British Values.
Year 4 visited the British Library to see the Fantasy exhibition, which includes CS Lewis’ original map of Narnia. The pupils will be studying ‘The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe’ and will be writing their own fantasy stories using what they have learnt from the exhibition to help.
Thank you to the parents that helped out on the trips today – we hope you enjoyed your day!
