On Friday Year 6 completed a pilgrimage walk from Tower Hill to Westminster Abbey to raise funds for charity. So far the pupils have raised £1,087 for their chosen charity, The British Heart Foundation, which is an amazing achievement. Well done Year 6!
The pupils were met at Westminster Abbey by the Deputy Chaplain, who had a special treat in store for them. She took the pupils into the shrine of St Edward the Confessor, which is usually closed to visitors, so that they could share the exact same experience as pilgrims in the past. What a priviledge!
