We have a big focus on oracy and use P4C (Philosophy for Children) and Debating to develop children’s speaking and listening skills.  In literacy, we are developing ways of encouraging pupil talk such as Reciprocal Reading and talk activities before writing.

In maths, we base our teaching on a system called Mathematics Mastery (which incorporates the best of international practices, inspired by teaching in Shanghai and Singapore).
