KS1 SATS Window Opened

6th May 2022H Trinity

Some of our Year 2 pupils have made a cracking start to their KS1 SATS.  Our pupils love SATS, as we approach them postively.  For our pupils they are fun challenge that gives them the opportunity to show just how much they can do.

Year 2 pupils will be sitting their SATS papers throughout the May window, so please ensure that your child is in school on time everyday.

Year 5 Rocky Road Project

Year 5 are devising a Jubilee themed Rocky Road recipe that can be served at our Jubilee party on Thursday 26th May.  Last week pupils made a classic recipe, but over the weeks they will be considering what they can change to make it fit for a queen.

KS1 Art & Design Learning Walk

Ms McCleave had a lovely time observing and supporting in KS1 Art & Design lessons on Monday 25th May 2022.  The pupils were having a great time discovering the work of Arcimboldo, Miro and Quentin Blake.

A busy week of visits

Year 5 visited Lord’s Cricket Ground, where they watched a professional match and even met some of the players!  What a fabulous experience!

Year 3 visited the City Learning Centre (CLC) to take part in a coding workshop.  They learnt how to create a band made up of moving sprites and then composed their own electronic music for them to play.  Well done Year 3!

Holy Trinity to Host Private View at The National Gallery

22nd April 2022H Trinity

Having successfully submitted another two pieces of work to The National Gallery’s ‘Take One Picture’ exhibition, we have been asked to help host the private view in June.  Four of our Year 6 pupils will be on hand at the gallery to talk about the project and what it means to them.  What a great honour for our pupils!

Holy Trinity Achieve Artsmark Gold – March 2022

Good news!  Holy Trinity has been awarded a prestigious gold Artsmark award.  This is a great achievement, particularly as our journey was played out against against the backdrop of COVID 19.

Artsmark is the only creative quality standard for schools and is accredited by Arts Council England.  It is awarded after a rigorous assessment process that ensures that arts, culture and creativity are embedded across the curriculum.

The award is valid for two years.
