Welcome back!

7th September 2022H Trinity

Thank you to all the parents who have ensured that their children have returned to school in the correct uniform.  Please see our fabulous examples above – don’t they look smart!

Just a reminder that trainers, tracksuit bottoms and leggings are not permitted, unless your child has PE that day.  Our uniform policy was sent out at the end of last term and can be found using the following link:

Uniform Policy 2022

If anyone does have difficulty with uniform they can discretely approach a member of staff and we will do our best to help where we can.

Playground update

Contractors are back on site today and are beginning to lay the astroturf in the lower playground.  Hopefully this work will be complete before the children return on Monday.  We all have our fingers crossed!  Thank you all for your patience and the kind comments that we have received about the improvements already.  It will be fabulous when it is complete.

A busy end to the term!

21st July 2022H Trinity

Super won the house competition this term and had a great time at theur house party.  Well done to everyone in Super house!

Our year 6 pupils wrapped up their years at Holy Trinity with an Ocars Ceremony and an emotional Leavers’ Service at The Lighthouse Church.  We are very proud of them all and wish them every success in their secondary schools.

On behalf of all the staff, I would like to thank you all for your continued support and for the kind words, cards and gifts that we have received.  Thank you.

Have a great summer everyone and we look forward to welcoming you back in September.

Year 6 Production – A Toy’s Story

18th July 2022H Trinity

What a fabulous performance from Year 6 on Friday night!  The children performed an inventive stage version of a popular animated film, which included sound effects, film and even a home-made advert, as well as drama.

The year 6 team worked so hard on this and am sure it will be a memory the children will treasure forever.  Well done to everyone involved!

Zoom Meeting with an Olympian

18th July 2022H Trinity

On Friday, the children enjoyed a Q&A session with Olympian, Sarah Jones.  Sarah won a bronze Olympic medal for hockey in the last games.  She spoke to the children about the importance of a healthy diet and the qualities required to be a successful sportswoman.

Thank you Sarah for helping us to raise our children’s aspirations and for giving the advice they need to reach their potential in sports.

A busy few days at Holy Trinity!

12th July 2022H Trinity

Sports Day

A great Sports Day was had by all and it was great to see the children giving their all for their teams and showing such good sportsmanship.  Well done to Fantastic House who came out on top at the end of the day with a whopping 341 points.  Congratulations to all of you!

Dance Performance

All the children were treated to some wonderful dance performances, as part of our partnership with The Place.  The dancers then put the children through their paces.

7th July 2022H Trinity

This morning, some of our pupils met Olympian Sarah Jones at the opening of the new Aldi store, in the O2 Centre.  This was a great opportunity for our pupils and we are hoping to talk to Sarah about her sporting achievements again in the future.  Good luck in the Commonwealth Games, Sarah!

National Day to Create

6th July 2022H Trinity

Today was national Day to Create.  Our pupils focussed on observation drawing, which is a core skill in art & design, design & technology and science.  What wonderful work they produced!  Selected works will be on display in the hall gallery shortly.

Holy Trinity Day

29th June 2022H Trinity

It’s Holy Trinity Day today and our children have been focussing our school’s Christian vision.  Each child has completed a feather with their aspirations on it, which will eventually feature in a new mural in the school hall.  Thank you to the group of pupils who created the papers for the feathers.

Picnic in the Park

22nd June 2022H Trinity

Following on from the success of our Platinum Jubilee Party, we would like to invite parents & carers to join us for Picnic in the Park on Tuesday 19th July.  Bring a blanket and a hamper and enjoy the day with your child on Primrose Hill.

Years 1 – 6

Years 1-6 will be leaving school from around 09.30 onwards and making their way to Primrose Hill for some relaxed activities and a picnic.  Parents are welcome to walk over to Primrose Hill with us and spend the day in the park.  Classes will begin returning to school around 14.00.  Children that receive free school meals will be provided with a school packed lunch.

Reception

Reception class will be holding their picnic in the school playground, as Primrose Hill is too far for little legs to manage at this time of year.  Parents are welcome to join them.

We hope to see you there!
