I had a lovely afternoon with Year 5 making an improved version of Rocky Road. Year 5 adapted the classic Rocky Road recipe we tried last week by adding Turkish Delight and Smarties. I think they might be on to a winner here!
Some of our Year 2 pupils have made a cracking start to their KS1 SATS. Our pupils love SATS, as we approach them postively. For our pupils they are fun challenge that gives them the opportunity to show just how much they can do.
Year 2 pupils will be sitting their SATS papers throughout the May window, so please ensure that your child is in school on time everyday.
Ms McCleave had a lovely time observing and supporting in KS1 Art & Design lessons on Monday 25th May 2022. The pupils were having a great time discovering the work of Arcimboldo, Miro and Quentin Blake.
Year 5 visited Lord’s Cricket Ground, where they watched a professional match and even met some of the players! What a fabulous experience!
Year 3 visited the City Learning Centre (CLC) to take part in a coding workshop. They learnt how to create a band made up of moving sprites and then composed their own electronic music for them to play. Well done Year 3!
Having successfully submitted another two pieces of work to The National Gallery’s ‘Take One Picture’ exhibition, we have been asked to help host the private view in June. Four of our Year 6 pupils will be on hand at the gallery to talk about the project and what it means to them. What a great honour for our pupils!
