We hope reception parents enjoyed the nativity performance yesterday morning. The pupils worked very hard to learn all the words and actions to the songs – didn’t they do well!

Dear parents/carers,
I am very happy share our SIAMS report with you. The inspectors carried out the inspection last half-term and the report has now been finalised and shared with our Governors. The main focus of the inspection is to monitor that the school is true to its Christian foundation and that the school vision is ‘lived’ through policies and practice.
The inspection involved, teachers, church representatives, governors, parents and pupils. I would like to thank all of those groups for their amazing contribution.

Holy Trinity was alive with science last week! All classes received an exciting, interactive science workshop from our friends at The Crick Institute. These workshops focussed on core scientific concepts that pupils need to learn as part of the science curriculum.
Additionally, Reception and KS1 classes had another exciting workshop from Germbusters. These workshops focussed on teaching pupils about hygiene and how it can help them stay healthy. The pupils looked so cute in their Germbusters capes!
Thank you to Germbusters and the team from The Crick Institute for providing such great opportunities for our pupils.
Please find details of Lighthouse’s annual Light Party below. This a fun family event that welcomes people of all faiths. NB: this is NOT a Halloween themed party! Wear your best of the wild west! Yee-hah!
Year 3 went to the science museum to learn about the future of food. This helps to build pupils’ understanding of sustainability issues.
Thank you for all of your donations, which will be going to the food bank run by the London Full Gospel Church at the O2 Centre.
Well done to all of the pupils for their thoughtful prayers. We hope you enjoyed hearing them.
Dear parents/carers,
Holy Trinity will be inspected by a SIAMS inspector on Tuesday 21st October 2025. This is a different type of inspection to OFSTED and focusses on how how the Christian Vision of the school is ‘lived’ through our practice.
Please see the inspector’s letter to parents/carers below. Copies are available from the school office.
We tried something different for PE Enrichment Day this term – a sound bath! Sound baths are designed to encourage us to actively listen and experience the power of musical instruments through the whole body.
The pupils were amazed how they could feel the vibrations of the instruments and how relaxed it made them feel. We did have to wake a few sleepy heads up! One child claimed the experience had healing properties!
“I had backache this morning,” he said. “But I could feel the vibrations in my back and it relaxed me and now I don’t ache anymore!”
We wanted pupils to experience the value of being still and listening with intent, as both are skills associated with good mental health and wellbeing.
Thank you to Cathy for delivering this experience to our pupils.
Year 3 visited the Making Egypt exhibition at The Young V&A (formerly The Museum of Childhood). This exhibition took the pupils on a fascinating journey through the ancient past to modern day, exploring ancient Egypt’s creativity and how it continues to influence art, design and popular culture. This is important as pupils often think ancient civilisations just stop existing at some point, rather than transforming gradually into the civilisations they know today.
Year 4 have been learning about vocations in their RE lessons this half-term. Yesterday, they were joined by an expert panel of parents to find out whether they viewed their occupation as a vocation or a job. They were able to interview a midwife, firefighter, female engineer and a bus driver to name a few.
We would like to thank all the parents who generously gave their time and shared their wisdom with the children. The pupils felt very inspired!
Here are a few aspirational quotes from pupils:
“It shows that I can do anything I want to, if I believe in myself.”
“Keep working on yourself and your learning, as you never know where your journey will lead.”
“Never give up, always tell yourself you can do it!”
