Today was national Day to Create. Our pupils focussed on observation drawing, which is a core skill in art & design, design & technology and science. What wonderful work they produced! Selected works will be on display in the hall gallery shortly.

Last night, four of our Year 6 pupils helped to host the private view of this year’s Take One Picture Exhibition at The National Gallery. They had the very daunting job of talking to gallery sponsors, artists, members of the press and other dignitaries about their work. I am so proud of the way they acquitted themselves. Both Ms Bear and I were showered with praise about them by visitors, who said they were polite, personable, confident and knowledable. Well done guys!
This was an incredible honour for our pupils and is testament to the quality of the artwork produced by the school. Holy Trinity was one of only 3 schools selected to host from thousands. We were the only school to have more than one project in the exhibition too. Our current Year 2 pupils also feature in the exhibition, which is open until 11th September 2022. Admission is free.

If you shop in the O2 Centre you may have noticed some colourful artwork in the entrance area completed by our pupils.
Our Jubilee union flag is also currently on display in the window at Lighthouse London (formerly Holy Trinity Church) on Finchley Road.
An amazing time was had by all at the school party to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. It was great to see so many of you in red, white and bIue and other splendid costumes.
I was bowled over by the generosity of those that contributed to the fantastic buffet. Similarly the standard of competition entries was sky high and made for very hard judging. Well done everybody!
Thank you for making this such a special occasion.
Reception class went to Camley Street Natural Park yesterday for a spot of pond dipping. The children were amazed by the variety of wild life that they found. Despite the weather, they had a great time!
A massive thank you to the parent helpers. We cannot run trips like this without your support.
Year 6 have started SATS week with a really positive attitude. They are well prepared and eager to get on with the challenge. Good luck, Year 6!
Ms McCleave had a lovely morning seeing what our pupils were learning in Art& design
