Reaching Our Potential – Sports Day

26th June 2024H Trinity

The pupils enjoyed another successful Sports Day yesterday.  Well done to all of our pupils!  Despite the heat, they all participated enthusiastically and showed great sportsmanship.  Judging by the number of stickers pupils received, I think we have some future Olympians on our hands!

Thank you to Mr Pastore for organising such a great day and to the parents who supported the event.  I would also like to thank South Hampstead High School for the use of their facilities.

Year 6 Secondary Transition Workshop

21st June 2024H Trinity

Thanks to our friends at Lighthouse London for running a fun workshop for our year 6 pupils as they prepare top move on to secondary school.  Most of our pupils have been together for seven years, so moving on to secondary school is a big change for them, but we are always proud of the way they handle this big transition.

Year 5 visit The Tower of London

19th June 2024H Trinity

Year 5 have been learning about the Tudors and visited The Tower of London yesterday, so they could experience first-hand the place where so many momentous events took place.  Their tour guide was none other than Catherine Parr, Henry VIII’s final wife, who wowed the pupils with her insider knowledge.

Year 3 Enjoy Lunch in the Sun

18th June 2024H Trinity

Finally the sun came out and we were able to use our new courtyard as an al fresco dining space!  Year 3 were the class with the highest attendance last week, so they will be using the courtyard this week, plus Year 4 who have achieved the best attendance most frequently.  Hopefully the weather will play ball and we can reward more classes this summer term.

Years 1 and 2 had a great time in Southend-on-Sea on Friday.  Pupils enjoyed collecting shells, handling live crabs and finding out how Southend had changed over the years.  They were brilliant on the long coach journey there and back too!  Well done KS1!

Learning to Live Well Together

15th May 2024H Trinity

Learning about other faiths is one of the ways we teach pupils to live well together.  Not only does this tie-in with our Christian ethos, but also the British Value of respect and tolerance for those of other faiths.

Year 5 pupils received a warm welcome at the Gurdwara on Tuesday, as they learnt about the Sikh faith.  The food in particular was big hit and plenty of seconds were served!

Meanwhile Year 2 enjoyed a visit from one of our parents, who shared her experience of worshipping in a mosque with the class.  We welcome parents who want to share their faith, so please let us know if you are interested.
