It was lovely to see so many of our younger pupils enjoying a bedtime story with us last night. Thank you to all the parents that brought their children in. We hope the presentation about reading with younger children was helpful.

Does anyone want a free piano? We have just obtained a new one and now need to re-home our old one. You will need to arrange transport to collect it within the next week or so and this will be at your own cost. The piano is still in the hall, so you can have a quick look to check the size.
If you are interested, please let us know. It will be given away on a first come, first served basis!
Thank you to all of the parents that have bought books for their children. It is great to see so many of you encouraging your children to enjoy reading. I hope you will have many hours of pleasure sharing your purchases with your children.
This week pupils enjoyed a special worship, where they learnt what it means to be a heat network engineer, from Ms James. Ms James has worked on projects aiming to provide cleaner energy for our homes and even for a whole city!
Older pupils were invited to a Q&A session where they found out about routes into engineering and what qualifications were needed. Ms James’ enthusiasm for engineering has definitely inspired our pupils to have a think about this career path.
Thank you Ms James!
Partnerships with local private schools is one of the ways we ensure that our pupils enjoy a rich curriculum and access to excellent resources.
This week Year 6 pupils visited University College School (UCS) to take part in a biology workshop.
A Robotics Club has also started in partnership with The American School in London (ASL).
Many thanks to our partners for their support.
If you are the parent or carer of a child between 0-2 years old then this is for you!
Jemima, our children’s pastor at Lighthouse London is starting up a parent & toddler group at Lighthouse London (formerly Holy Trinity Church) and would like to welcome you there.
Details are on the poster above, but if you need more information, please contact Jemima the church directly.
Many of you will know Ms Roscoe, who has worked here for many years, including as Assistant Head. Ms Roscoe is moving over to our partner school, Hampstead Parochial, to act as Interim Head of School, whilst Ms Inglis is on maternity leave. I am sure that you will join me in wishing Ms Roscoe every success in her new role. Congratulations!
Happy new year to you all! It was great to see the children back in school today. However, we did have a large number of children absent. Please check term dates on the school website regularly and particularly around holiday times. Secondary schools increasingly have different term dates to primary schools, so please do not rely on what your secondary-aged children are telling you!
I just wanted to finish my blog for this term with this adorable photo of the children singing Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
The staff would like to thank everyone for their kind words, cards and gifts – we really do appreciate them.
Merry Christmas everone! I wish you every happiness in the new year!
Thank you to the parents who attended the Christmas Service at Lighthouse London yesterday. I am sure you will agree that the pupils’ heartfelt prayers were moving and the singing joyous!
Thank you to Lighhouse London for the lovely service and all their support over the year. I am sure that parents would also like to thank them for the tea, coffee and warm mince pies!
