Thank you to Lighthouse London and to our Year 4 pupils for delivering the Easter Service this year. Well done everyone!
A selection of our pupils’ excellent art & design work is on show at the O2 Centre on Finchley Road. If you are doing your shopping, make sure you check out the exhibition in the gallery space between the escalators. The work will be on display until after the Easter Holidays.
Pupils had great fun learning how skipping can improve their health & wellbeing last Wednesday. Special workshops run by Skip 2B Fit really got the pupils’ heart rates up!
Pupils also learnt about mental health and wellbeing and some classes completed cooking projects.
Parents & carers of all faiths are welcome to attend our Easter Service next Wednesday at 2.30pm. Year 4 will be helping to lead the service with our friends at Lighthouse London. We look forward to sharing this special time of the Christian year with you.
Thank you to the parents and carers who attended our KS1 Mother’s Day Services. We hope you enjoyed them.
Year 5 have been finding out how the local area has changed throughout history, using King’s Cross as a case study. They visited the Canal Museum and its surroundings to see how old buildings have been re-developed and now have very different uses.
On Friday Reception went to Hampstead Heath to learn more about the world around them.
Year 2 shared what they have been learning with their families, including their art work inspired by Kandinsky.
Year 2 have had the sweetest visitors this week in the shape of newly-hatched ducklings. The pupils have been learning about the life cycles of animals in their science lessons and watching the ducklings hatch brought this to life for them. Reception class have also been in share in the experience.
Pupils were treated to an exciting programme of dance performances by students from the London Contemporary Dance School yesterday. This is part of the package we enjoy through our partnership with The Place, who are currently working with years 3 and 4 to produce dances that they will perform at the end of term in a real theatre.
